BAPTISM AT CONEY ISLAND…

I was able to reconnect with my good friend Andrew Pickett who I met while I attended Liberty University back in 2015.
He contacted me a few weeks before his dad and him were going to be on a work trip together in Brooklyn, NY. I joined them in NYC for a evening baseball game and afterwards I brought them down to Brooklyn and I toured them around the best spots.

His Dad is the president of a non-profit called “Innovative Faith” and they are a organization who provides a variety of media and Finnancial resources to ministries and non-profits

“Our team utilizes professional video, branding, and proven financial practices to help your organization, or church, succeed so you have more time to focus on growing
the vision.”

They invited me back to join them with filming and taking photos of a church plant called “The Borough Church” who was having a baptism service at Coney Island. First off I was ecstatic for the event and even more so they wanted me to help out.
(It was a extra add on that they were going to pay for my traveling and food expenses too.)

This was an amazing time to get to connect with this church and capture their event with my friends.
So many people asked us why we were there and what it meant to be baptized, the gospel was preached to so many more that day.
This day reminded me of what my true passion is. People.
I have always said since the day I started my photography business;

PHOTOGRAPHY IS MY PASSION
PEOPLE ARE MY DESTINATION.

For myself as a Christian, one who believes God is the creator of myself and everything and everyone I interact with, Jesus is the son of God who died and resurrected, His number one goal is for His children to know who they are loved by, created by, and what they’re created for… It’s Him.
If people are His goal, they are mine as well.
My job is to love and serve God & to love His people and serve them well.
This is why I have been able to go so far in photography.
Yes I work hard and make the connections I need to, but it’s because I gave my gift that He has given to me back to him and dedicated it.
I would be able to succeed without God, but the purpose my work would be doing would be pointless if I am not loving and serving God and His people.

THANK YOU ANDREW
& BRANDON PICKETT!
